Its ease of use and extensive features make it a great option. The plugin also has integrations and compatibility with third-party services like WPML, Unsplash, Mailchimp, and Weglot.

Developed by Noah Kagan, of AppSumo fame, this plugin is a no-frills approach to putting your WordPress site into “under construction” mode. There is no fancy layout builder, third-party integrations, or design tools built into this plugin. Instead, the admin is responsible for creating and inserting their own HTML and CSS into the plugin’s interface. Any markup you enter is what will be displayed on your site when visitors arrive. Coming Soon by Dazzler
Coming Soon, by Dazzler, is another one of many fully-featured WordPress under construction plugins on our list. This plugin offers responsive designs, with a focus on retina-display support, built on top of the popular Bootstrap UI framework. It supports HTML5 and CSS3 animations and claims to work with any WordPress theme. The plugin has support for background images and social media icons. It is translation ready out of the box and offers great browser compatibility support (thanks to Bootstrap, no doubt).

Developer Snap Creek Software has made a very simple maintenance mode plugin with few configuration options or setup choices. This simplicity is by design and means the plugin is easy to use for WordPress admins of all levels of skill. The plugin comes with simple themes and pre-style CSS options so all you have to do is add your text, and an optional logo, and you are done. There is support for custom CSS if you require some additional styling.

Coming Soon Chop Chop offers a single default template that you can adjust with a custom visual editor. The layout is built on HTML5 and CSS3 so it is fully responsive. There is a Google Fonts integration so you can pick from a huge amount of typecases to customize the maintenance mode screen further. There is an ability to add social media links and integrate your Google Analytics account as well. This is a simple plugin that offers a nice and clean “under construction” page for your in-progress WordPress site. It’s simple but effective and one of the unappreciated options in the WordPress under construction plugin scene.
