You can use White Label Pro to customize a lot of the Yoast SEO experience for your clients. One of the simplest features is to hide the Yoast SEO HelpScout Beacon from the WordPress admin. Removing the beacon will help prevent your clients from reaching out for plugin support without your knowledge. Let’s take a minute and go through how you can remove the HelpScout Beacon in seconds with White Label Pro.
What is the Yoast SEO HelpScout Beacon?
Every screen inside Yoast SEO’s settings has a small icon in the bottom right-hand corner. This button, when clicked, opens up a prompt asking you to open the company’s HelpScout Beacon to get support. If you would prefer your clients reach out to you directly, disabling this button is a good idea. Here’s an example of what the HelpScout Beacon looks like, for reference:
Remove the Yoast SEO HelpScout Beacon
Hiding the Yoast SEO HelpScout Beacon button is simple with White Label Pro. Go to the White Label Pro settings screen and find the section for Yoast SEO. Scroll down to the Miscellaneous section and find the Hide HelpScout Beacon checkbox:
Check the box and save your settings. Immediately, your WordPress admin users will no longer see the HelpScout Beacon button on your site. It’s as easy as that.
